The Penrhosian is a biannual magazine that gets sent to the current and alumni communities of Penrhos College, with two dedicated sections for the respective groups.
A redesign was required in mid-2018 to bring the magazine in line with the rest of the Penrhos brand; I was responsible for developing the concept and artwork for this new version. With the goal to showcase a timeless and elegant new look, I recommended an uncoated stock to complement the design, with the option of gold foiling on special editions.
As part of the redesign, I proposed a clear split of the separate sections, marked by their own covers within the same publication: The Penrhosian (for the current community), and Extraordinary Women (for the alumni community). This provided an opportunity to better highlight the stories in the respective areas.
